Who: Hand Picked Hotels, a luxury hotel group offering luxury stays, dining experiences and spa breaks across the UK and the Chanel Islands.
What: working as a freelance copywriter with This Is Gain, I wrote ongoing Meta ad copy for Hand Picked Hotels’ paid social campaigns.
Why: to help drive bookings, promote seasonal offers and raise awareness of Hand Picked Hotels’ premium experiences within the UK market.
Mobile-first Meta ad copy: copy was written for Meta’s paid placements, designed for in-feed readability and strong thumb-stopping hooks.
Experience-led messaging: ad variations focused on different campaigns – weekend escapes, spa breaks, dining packages and seasonal events – while staying true to Hand Picked Hotels’ premium tone.
Emotional/seasonal focus: messaging tapped into seasonal travel behaviour (spring breaks, summer stays, winter spa escapes), keeping the ads timely and emotionally relevant.
