The Challenge
Who: No Fuss Travel Guides is a travel and tourism based company that produce, well, travel guides!

What: support the company in research and writing for a range of soon-to-be published travel books.

Why: with multiple book launches on the horizon, the team needed a qualified writer and content specialist to deliver engaging, well-researched content for their upcoming guides.

The Strategy
Deep dive researching: No Fuss Travel Guides' reputation is staked on its well-researched content. So, diving deep on forums, combing through history journals and scouring Google Maps were just a few of the research tools I used on this project.

Adapting tone of voice: with a unique style established by its creator, Robbie Roams, No Fuss has a distinctive tone that’s beloved by its readers. I was able to quickly adapted to this voice, ensuring the copy felt true to the brand throughout.

Covering all bases: each location needed detailed, compelling copy covering everything from local hotels and dog-friendly cafes to camper van parking. Every word was chosen to make life easier for the reader, making sure no detail was missed.
The Outcome
-
Over a period of six months, I contributed to six individual travel guides packed with helpful, easy-to-read information, including:

-
Alongside my research and copy, a range of pictures I took were used in the books.

-
The guides' success was clear in their 4- and 5-star Amazon reviews, with readers praising the clear tone and detailed itineraries that made their trips easier and more enjoyable.
