The Challenge
Who: Diskusija is a full service translation company offering translation, localisation and other language services

What: develop a series of educating, entertaining blog posts on the topic of translation services.
​
Why: to support Diskusija as a thought-leader in the translation industry and to educate potential clients on the benefits of working with experts in the industry.
The Strategy
In-depth analysis: a big part of my role was to research into the translation world, with particular emphasis on finding case studies to support the arguments the company were trying to make. Journals, articles, forums and ad archives were used to find the perfect examples to cement their viewpoint.

Balance education with entertainment: let's face it, translation services aren't sexy. It was my job to 'spice' it up as much as possible while maintaining Diskusija's authoritative voice. To do this, storytelling and bringing in real world examples were key.

SEO-friendly: while the client's goal was to primarily educate their readers, effort was made to ensure SEO appropriate keywords, formatting and structure were adhered to in order to rank highly on Google and other search engines.
The Outcome
